Hello Juniors and Parents,

The School Day SAT originally scheduled for April 14th has been canceled. The Saturday May 2nd national test date has also been canceled.

The Saturday June 6th SAT has not been canceled as of today. The Collegeboard continues to assess the situation daily.  It may be run, or it may be canceled, depending on the COVID-19 situation, closer to the test date. If you want to try to take the June test, the deadline to register online is May 8th. If you register and they later cancel the test, you will receive a refund from the Collegeboard. If you are eligible for free or reduced lunch, or there are other financial hardships in your family, like a COVID-19 layoff, I can give you a fee waiver for the test. Email me your request.

Please be aware that many colleges understand the situation and have chosen to offer a "test optional" admission process for 2021. Before registering for and paying for the test, you may want to verify whether the colleges you plan to apply to still require the test.

Please let me know if you have questions.
